# Rooms in rooms - event that announces there's a branchoff "X has branched off to talk about topic Y" - also list possible content warnings here - A new room is created, with the same privacy settings as the old one, but allowing all members from the other room to join, or even peek without joining - The branch would also allow explicitly inviting users that are in the main room Give them a highlight with "X has invited you to participate in branch Y" - The branch allows inviting users that are not in the main room, like when their expertise is wanted, or for something like new member vetting - this can be handled on their side as just a normal room invite ## New server features this would need - A way to (only) allow the main room memberlist to join, without explicitly inviting them. - Compatibility with just normal invites could work, altough it might get a bit spammy when the room branches multiple times
